The WWF nature reserve of Vanzago belongs to a system of protected areas created by WWF throughout Italy with the aim of conserving rare ecosystems, areas of exceptional naturalistic value and habitats for endangered animals.
Cascina Gabrina is located right in the middle of one of these reserves: the WWF promotes activities and events in which it takes part are aimed at protecting this area, which is a real oasis in the desert, where wild nature still finds space, despite its proximity to the metropolis of Milan.
